All Tava providers are required to have a cancellation and no-show policy on their Tava profile. These policies ensure all members understand their payment responsibility and communication expectations when cancelling sessions. Providers may choose to set their own custom rate for cancellation and no-show fees, up to $150.
Please note: Health insurance, employer coverage, and HSA cards cannot be used to pay cancellation or no-show fees.
When Late Cancellations Are Charged
If a member cancels their session within 24 hours of the session start time, they will be charged the provider's late cancellation fee. Providers may choose to waive their cancellation fee at their own discretion up to 72 hours after the cancel date.
When No-Show Fees Are Charged
If a member does not join their session within the first 15 minutes of the session start time, they will be charged the provider's no-show fee. Providers may choose to waive their no-show fee at their own discretion up to 72 hours after the session date.
Changes to Provider Policies
Providers may choose to change their late cancellation and no-show rates at any time. When doing so, all members will be notified and required to read and accept the updated policy before scheduling their next session with their provider.
Sponsored Fees
If a member's sponsoring organization is covering fees using session credits, that member will not be charged a no-show or late cancelation fee. Instead, that member will be deducted a session credit unless the provider chooses to waive the fee.
